For qualification programmes based at our Greenlands campus, Henley-on-Thames.

Academic Dress

Below are details of the academic dress for the award of MBA of Henley Business School, and DBA, PhD and MSc of University of Reading.

It is recommended that you wear a button-through top or shirt and ladies should bring some hairpins. Men are required to wear a tie. Handbags and mobile telephones etc. should be left with guests during the ceremony.

Collection of Robes

Robes will be ready for collection at the Greenlands site on the day of your ceremony from the Institute of Directors Conference Room (see map).

Robes can be ordered from Ede & Ravenscroft on their website at www.gownhire.co.uk . Please place your order at least 21 days prior to the ceremony. Please remember to bring your order confirmation with you on the day.

Assistance will be given with robing. Hats should be worn throughout the ceremony and for photographs. Please return your robes back to the Institute of Directors Conference Room as soon as possible after the ceremony.
