Working with industry

State of the art facilitiesWe acknowledge the importance of working with industry in order to transfer our research outcomes and expertise to major business, industry, and government organisations. There are a number of ways that we work with industry including;

  • Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP)
    A number of DTI-funded KTP projects are carried out between IRC and local SMEs in areas such as SCM, CRM, SOA, project management, Business Intelligence, Network Security and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and web services.

  • Short training courses
    We offer a variety of short courses and training for different audiences (scientists, engineers, technologists and "hybrid" managers) at different levels, to meet their personalized demand and inspirations. IRC also provides consultancy and services in scientific computation, data analysis and data mining, business and IT strategies and infrastructure, business process design and re-engineering, development of e-commerce and e-business solutions.

  • Consultancy
    A range of consultancy services across all areas of our expertise are offered, including scientific computation, modelling and simulation, data analysis and data mining, enterprise content management, business process design and re-engineering, and the development of e-commerce and e-business solutions.
