Apply for Scholarships
- We have a number of scholarships available for informatics students. You must apply for the scholarship before you start your course as any retrospective applications will not be accepted. If you are offered more than one scholarship your scholarship letter will always state the total you have been awarded rather than stating an amount separately. The number of scholarships that we offer are limited and are on a first come first served basis, therefore please apply early to avoid disappointment.
- For applicants studying 'Information Management and Systems' and 'Business Information Management' programmes there are five fee scholarships:
1x Full fee scholarship (for home students)
2x ½ fee scholarship (for home students)
2x ½ fee scholarship (for overseas students)
- For applicants wishing to study the 'Business Technology Consulting' programme there are two fee scholarships:
1x ½ fee scholarship (for home students)
1x ½ fee scholarship (for overseas students)
- Additional scholarships of £2,000 can be awarded at the discretion of the scholarship team. All informatics scholarships are initially assessed by the admissions tutor, and are based on the criteria of academic ability and commercial experience. Scholarships are checked and then approved or declined, in principle by at least two members of the informatics scholarship team. All scholarships are formally approved by the head of school before being confirmed to the applicant.
- Once we have received your application we will then contact you by letter to advise you of the outcome. Please make sure that you include your current address details so that we can send the letter to the correct address.
