Housing Markets and Planning Analysis
A Communities and Local Government Expert Panel
The government department Communities and Local Government has set up an innovatory expert panel related to housing markets and planning in order to enhance its own evidence base and to facilitate the receipt of independent commentary from leading experts on issues relevant to policy formulation.
A panel of 23 members now exists, most of whom work in universities with some additional representation from private consultancies.
If you are interested in becoming a panel member please see the further information and application form.
The panel complements Communities and Local Government's already extensive research programmes in these areas by undertaking short projects and providing comments on a rapid response basis.
Professor Michael Ball is the Lead Panel Member and panel work is commissioned via the University of Reading.
