Areas of Interest:

My research has primarily focussed upon game-theoretic modelling of the effect of taxation systems on the location decisions of multinational firms, taking into account asymmetries both between firms and between national tax-setters. Another current research interest is the role of the geographical diversification of firms in determining corporate social performance (CSP). More specifically, recent empirical work has sought to investigate the effect on CSP, and its various components, on the extent and character of the dispersion of a firm's operations across the globe. Of particular interest is the potential role of a firm's presence in controversial countries.
