Research centres
The School of Economics is home to expertise spanning a broad range of areas and to leading, widely published academic experts. Our staff work in and across a number of internationally-renowned research centres. These centres unite some of the leading thinkers in their field to generate cutting-edge, academically rigorous research.
- The Centre for Euro-Asian Studies (CEAS)
- The Centre for Institutional Performance (CIP)
- The John H. Dunning Centre for International Business
- The Centre for Spatial and Real Estate Economics (CSpREE)
- The Economic Analysis Research Group (EARG)

Each of our research centres organises a series of ongoing events, ranging from weekly seminar series to international conferences. Our academic staff work closely with multinational organisations, governments and international agencies to undertake funded and collaborative research projects. We have links and have undertaken projects with organisations ranging from Shell and Burren Energy to the UN and the World Bank, from HM Treasury to the Department for Trade and Industry.
