The Equality and Diversity Committee
This is the Committee responsible for providing strategic advice on equality and diversity matters to the University.
The Committee was formally established by Senior Management Board of the University of Reading on the 1st February 2011 and superseding the role and responsibilities of the previous equality and diversity committees, the Equal Opportunities Advisory Group (EOAG) and the Disability Advisory Group (DAG).
The Committee meets termly and is currently chaired by the Professor Dianne Berry, Director of Postgraduate Research Studies and Researcher Development. Professor Berry is also a member the University's Staffing Committee.
