How to apply for a PhD
Entry requirements
Successful applicants will normally have (or be in the process of gaining) a good a Masters degree, from an internationally recognised university, and an equally strong undergraduate degree. If your English language ability is below the minimum requirement, we may ask you to provide evidence of proficiency or to attend a pre-sessional English language course.

To apply for a place on the PhD programme at Henley Business School please:
- download and complete a postgraduate application form
- return your completed completed application form with the following supporting documents:
- Two copies of your completed application form - Research proposal (see notes for applicants (PDF - 33KB) - to the address below: Postgraduate Admissions Office
- Full transcript of all previous degree programmes
- Copies of degree certificates
- Two confidential letters of reference in sealed envelopes
- Documentation confirming funding (where applicable)
- English language certificate (if your previous qualification was not studied for in English)
