Academic requirements

You are expected to hold an upper second-class bachelors degree from a UK university, or an equivalent qualification from an internationally-recognised university. Prior knowledge or experience of your chosen subject area is not required. We welcome applications from recent university graduates from a wide range of disciplines. Good second class degree from an internationally-recognised institution in Nigeria.

Pakistan

Good four year bachelor of Science/Engineering degree from or a good Master of Science/Engineering degree from an internationally-recognised institution in Pakistan.

Singapore

Good honours degree from an internationally-recognised institution in Singapore.

South Korea

Good bachelors degree from an internationally-recognised institution in South Korea.

Taiwan

Good bachelors degree from an internationally-recognised institution in Taiwan.

Thailand

Good bachelors degree with a GPA of 3.0 from an internationally-recognised institution in Thailand.

USA

Good four year bachelors degree from an internationally-recognised institution in the USA.

English language requirements

Studying in a second language can be challenging. If your English language ability is below the minimum requirement, we may ask you to provide evidence of proficiency or to attend a pre-sessional English language course before you begin your studies so that you can participate fully in your Masters programme.

The International Study and Language Centre (ISLC) provides English for academic study in a variety of ways to support your progress and development. This also includes in-sessional support, as well as an International Foundation Programme for students who do not hold the normal entry requirements.

UK visa requirements
