The Centre for Entrepreneurship
Introduction to the Centre
Founded in 2007, the Centre for Entrepreneurship is part of Henley Business School at the University of Reading. Led by Professor Andrew Godley, the Centre provides a lively hub for teaching and research in the subject, inspiring students from across the University to embrace, develop and apply their entrepreneurial abilities.
Teaching in the Centre
Taught modules delivered by the Centre for Entrepreneurship are open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students across the University. We welcome successful entrepreneurs and professionals to share their wide-ranging experiences and expertise through guest lectures, case studies, consultancy sessions and mentoring opportunities. Henley Business School has also launched its new MSc Entrepreneurship and Management programme, new for 2012. Find out more about our taught modules.
Placements for students
The Centre works with local enterprises to provide placements for students in a range of the Centre’s modules. Businesses benefit by receiving assistance from students who come from a wide variety of disciplines, with a range of different skills, knowledge and experience.
Centre research and business partners
Centre staff are regularly interviewed in the mainstream media and consult for international bodies and governments as well as large and small firms.
The Centre for Entrepreneurship benefits from the experience and expertise of guest speakers, judges and advisers. If you are an entrepreneur or professional who would like to support budding entrepreneurs we would be pleased to hear from you. Please see further information on partners and working with the Centre or email entrepreneurship@henley.reading.ac.uk.
