O2 Scholarship Awarded to Postgraduate Student
In conjunction with telecommunications giant O2, Henley Business School is delighted to announce Graham Paterson as the winner of the O2 Scholarship for 2010.
Awarded annually, following a highly competitive application and formal interview process, the Scholarship provides Graham, currently studying MSc Marketing and International Management, with a £6,000 scholarship and the opportunity to work on a project with O2.
Graham explained that he plans to use the funds to launch a small company. He said: 'I will enjoy the opportunity to work closely with the O2 marketing team on a business project next year, allowing me to apply what I have learned at Henley Business School in a practical context.'
He highlighted the School's impressive global reputation and the international focus of its masters programmes as key reasons for deciding to study at Henley. He added: 'I believe that the knowledge and experience I gain at Henley will help me to stand out, not only when applying for jobs, but also when it comes to succeeding in a role.'
Fiona Maktari, Head of O2's Marketing Academy, said: 'We are proud to continue to inspire and support the next generation of marketing talent at Henley Business School. In an increasingly crowded and competitive global market place innovative marketers, with new ideas and a fresh approach, are in high demand and provide an essential ingredient for sustainable business success.'
