Congratulations to our 2010 graduates
This week, the newest graduands of Henley Business School ascended the steps of the University's Great Hall to receive their degree certificates.
Graduands of the School's undergraduate and postgraduate master's programmes based at the Whiteknights campus and their families also attended a series of prize giving ceremonies designed to recognise specific individual achievements.
Professor Chris Bones, Dean of Henley Business School, said: 'I would like to join all of my colleagues in congratulating each of our graduates and in recognising our students' outstanding individual achievements.
I am confident that the Henley experience will prove highly valuable to our graduates throughout their future careers. More importantly, I am confident that employers will value the contribution that Henley graduates will make to their organisations and that our graduates are equipped, not just with knowledge but with the attitudes and behaviours that will help make a difference both in the workplace and in their communities."
Professor Bones added: 'We are deeply proud of our commitment to employability, and this is strongly reinforced by our performance in the major league tables. Students, graduates and employers alike widely recognise the value of a degree from Henley Business School and our international reputation for excellence.'
Graduates of Henley Business School are highly sought after by major UK and multinational employers, a fact reflected in the recently published university league tables for 2010. Highlights include the School being ranked 1st in the UK for career prospects in 'town and country planning' and 2nd for 'accounting and finance (The Times), alongside an impressive 2nd for 'business and management' and 6th for 'building' (The Guardian).
