Dr Simon Booth to Receive Award
Dr Simon Booth, Associate Head of the School of Management, has received a leading group award that will be presented at a ceremony to be held in Toronto, Canada, in August 2009.
The 2008 Ursula Gielen Global Psychology Book Award is presented each year by the American Psychology Association (International Psychology Division) to the author(s) of the book that makes the most significant contribution to psychology as a global discipline.
Dr Booth contributed a chapter titled "Inspirational Variations? Culture and leadership in England" to the book "Culture and Leadership Across the World: The GLOBE Book of In-Depth Studies of 25 Societies", edited by Jagdeep Chhokar, Felix Brodbeck and Robert House, published in 2007.
