Henley Business School international executive education strategy evidenced in Financial Times Ranking 2010
"Henley Business School has once again consolidated its position as a world-ranked provider of executive education with the results of the Financial Times Executive Education Ranking published 10 May 2010.
Ranking 33rd world-wide in a composite ranking for open and custom executive education programmes, the overall results of this survey reflect the efforts and success of the School in what has been a particularly difficult environment and turbulent market for all schools. In addition, the main area of strength is the international focus - international clients, international participants and international delivery - across Europe, Sub Saharan Africa, Middle East and South East Asia. This is commensurate with our clear intent to build on our heritage and to be an international player in an increasingly globalised world.
Henley ranked 15th in the world for breadth and depth of international clients in the custom programmes, to which Hugh Evans, Director of Corporate Learning at Henley commented:
"Coming 15th in the world in this category is a reflection of our growing success in taking Executive Education programmes education to international markets and the fact that Henley is a global brand. This result encourages us to continue to export the Henley experience to clients around the world".
In the same survey, Open Executive Programmes at Henley Business School ranked 4th in the UK and came in 10th in the world for "growth" which measures school's repeat business. Henley has recently extended its portfolio of open executive programmes at its UK Greenlands campus to disseminate knowledge and research being done with corporates by the applied research centres.
Henley Business School Dean, Chris Bones comments:
"It is always a satisfaction to know that the results of the rankings reflect our efforts and the success of the merger in supporting this achievement. This spurs us on to improve on those areas which will continue to transform us as a leading international business school. "
