Research at Henley Business School
World renowned centre for business research
Research, both within Henley Business School and across the University, underpins all of our activities and feeds directly into teaching at every level.
We are consistently rated among the UK's top business Schools based on our research output and performance. The University of Reading itself is ranked as one of the world's top 200 institutions and is rated among the UK's most research intensive universities.
Home to some of the world's most distinguished research-led academics and its most innovative practically-oriented thought leaders, our faculty's expertise spans a uniquely broad range of areas, from leadership and international business to real estate and finance, from strategic management and marketing to human resource management and international economic development.
Cutting-edge business school research

At Henley Business School we work closely with business, governmental and non-governmental organisations on funded research projects, both large and small. Our faculty are established and respected authors and commentators, featuring in the media, contributing to leading academic journals, producing research reports, and publishing papers and books spanning a broad range of fields.
Our faculty and our research activities are organised across a unique combination of research centres and centres of excellence, ranging from the John H. Dunning Centre for International Business to the ICMA Centre, from The Henley Centre for Customer Management to The John Madejski Centre for Reputation. Each centre organises a calendar of events, ranging from weekly seminar series to annual international conferences.
