About RREF

RREF at Henley Business SchoolThe Reading Real Estate Foundation (RREF) is a registered charity and has been set up to provide support for real estate and planning education at the University of Reading.

It was incorporated on 4 January 2002 as a company limited by guarantee. On 1 August 2009,   whereby many of the running costs of the charity were taken over by the University, allowing all funds raised by RREF to be directed solely to its projects.

Our objectives are to strengthen the links between Real Estate & Planning at the University of Reading, its graduates and the wider industry to help support and develop the quality of real estate education at the University of Reading; and to help maintain its position and raise awareness worldwide as a centre of excellence for real estate education and research.

"RREF plays a pivotal role between the University and Industry and is envied by many other educational establishments and indeed by many other industries. It is a great opportunity to keep in contact with your University friends and to make valuable connections with other alumni from a wide variety of ages and responsibilities. RREF is a hugely useful network to belong to which brings many benefits to those people who put a lot in to it. I have enjoyed immensely my association with RREF and would commend it to everyone who graduates from Real Estate & Planning at Reading."
 - Bryan Laxton, RREF Trustee and Non-executive Director (BSc Land Management, 1981)
