We offer a Professional Development Programme 2016-17 of activites that will benefit you while you are studying at the School of Real Estate and Planning and beyond in to your future career.

We offer a number of specific Scholarships RREF bursaries and RREF hardship grants to students who will or have come into financial difficulty during the course as well as graduation awards to recognise specific individual achievements.

We receive details of graduate jobs, internships and work experience opportunities in the industry and also offer the RREF Access Internship Scheme 2016.

RREF Mentoring Programme

The RREF Mentoring programme is unique to Reading and partners current students with industry professionals (usually Reading alumni) to provide one on one guidance throughout their studies in the hope of better preparing students for employment. 

The RREF Mentoring Programme 2016/17 has now closed for applications. However, if you complete and return the Mentee Application Form 2016/17 and return to we can add you to a waiting list.

Apply for RREF Financial support

As a result of generous alumni and corporate donations, we provide a range of undergraduate and postgraduate bursaries and hardship funds to students facing financial difficulty during the course and a number of graduation awards to reward academic excellence.

RREF Hardship Fund will open in October for applications for the academic year of 2016/17. This fund is designed to help those whose financial situation has changed due to unforeseen circumstances and who would find it difficult to continue their studies without help.

Apply to become a RREF Student Fundraiser for the RREF Telephone Campaign this Autumn, an amazing opportunity to speak to current industry professionals and support the RREF Annual Fund.  

RREF Access Internship Scheme 2016

The RREF Access Internship Scheme 2016 is aimed at under-represented students and is underway for summer 2016. The RREF Access Internship Scheme has been growing from strength to strength. Find out more about one Access Intern's experience in summer 2013.
