On Tuesday 1 March, RREF ran an exclusive networking reception for over 150 people who are taking part in its Mentoring Programme, now in its fourth year. The annual Mentoring Reception provides students with an opportunity to meet their mentor and other alumni involved in the programme.

9th Breakfast Forum

RREF hosted its 9th Breakfast Forum to discuss "Debt: established lenders and new entrants - how banks are dealing with their legacy portfolios and why new lenders are entering the market."

On Thursday 10 November, the RREF RG10s held their Autumn Profile Talk, which was kindly hosted by Corporate Patron Jones Lang LaSalle at their Hanover Square offices. Over 60 guests came to hear guest speaker, David Atkins (Reading Land Management graduate of 1988), talk about his career in property thus far, from a trainee surveyor in the late 1980's, to his rise to be the current Chief Executive of Hammerson Plc.

10th Annual Dinner

On Wednesday 2 November 480 guests were welcomed to the RREF 10th Annual Dinner at the Grange St. Paul's Hotel, London. The event is the largest specialist alumni event in the UK bringing together over 25 graduation years and corporate supporters from the property industry and is the charity's flagship fundraising event of the year.

Students and alumni from Reading and Oxford Brookes Universities locked horns for the debut of the 'Reading Real Estate Foundation's RG10 Charity Rugby Match'. The event, the first of its kind for the RG10 group, offered current students and past students the chance to mingle and for alumni to catch up with friends, colleagues and industry peers.

8th Breakfast Forum

RREF hosted its 8th Breakfast Forum to ask 'What should you own in the next five years?' where three leading figures from in development and investment spoke about their investments for the future to a sold-out audience of 150.

Regional Receptions

Henley Royal Regatta 2011

On Friday 1 July during Henley Royal Regatta, RREF hosted 70 guests at the Business School's beautiful Greenlands campus at Henley-on-Thames.

Supporters Event

On Tuesday 24 May, 50 donors, including Founder Members and Pioneers, plus key alumni and industry contacts gathered in the new Henley Business School at the University of Reading for the first annual RREF Supporters event.

Golf Day

RREF hosted 50 alumni and industry figures for a competitive 18 holes of golf at Mill Ride, the championship course based in Ascot.

Annual Lecture
